Stuck Clutch Fix?

I'm interested in hearing possible methods for freeing a clutch on a car that 
has been sitting too long.  Clutch hydraulics are good.

I know pulling the tranny is one option, but I'm talking about the more, 
uh.... adventurous methods.  What has worked for you?

Tales of woe are also welcome !
