I would look first for a hydraulic problem between the two.  If you leave
the bleed nipple open, does the pedal move ?  What if you loosen the outlet
fitting at the MC ?  (Aren't you glad you used DOT 5 fluif <g>)

If you slide a cheater bar over the clutch lever on the gearbox, can you
depress the clutch with it ?
