Best replacement I've found is 3M heat shrink tubing. I recommend theirs
first, and Active Electronics used to carry it in their stores in 3' lengths
for about $2 before they went to online sales only... However, often it can
be found in True Value hardware stores electrical isles, for about $3.00 for
several 6" pre cut pieces. Radio Shack also carries an assortment of pre-cut
heat shrink tubing, which has a more plastic look to it than the 3M stuff,
which is a little more rubber like- either will work fine. Just get it large
enough to slip on, and then heat it to fit like a glove.
