There's a fellow in the Seattle, Washington (USA) area with one of these
Ferrets.  I've seen him drive it to the "All British Field Meet" held in
July.  It appears to be street legal with a license plate and the works.  He
says he drives it regularly on the streets, but that it is VERY noisy
inside.  A real attention grabber to be sure...
