I tried to hit TDC instead but didn't get it exactly right ... even in 4th gear and with the parking brake tightly set, the engine moved the car. < Fortunately, it didn't move too far. 1/2 crank rotation or 48 degrees of tire rotation or 10 inches. But then if you are standing between the car and the work bench and there is only 8 inches of space... Dave |
