Subject: TR6 - exhaust ceramic coat?-powder coat intake?-circle B head?-valve guide measurement?

BlankList, please give me any thoughts you may have on these four subjects.
Thanks in advance for any insights.

1) When you get exhaust headers ceramic coated do they do the inside as well
as the outside? Do and/or should they also ceramic coat the surface that
meets with the intake/exhaust gasket? What if the headers have been used
already? Can they still ceramic coat the inside? Can they clean the inside
so it can be ceramic coated?

2) And if you powder coat an intake manifold should you PC the surface that
meets the gasket or not?

3) Does anyone know if the circle B heads were all 8.75 compression ratio
heads? Were there any that were lower compression than that? Were there any
circle B heads that used the later intake manifolds (that are spaced a bit
further apart and had longer runners)?

4) How much wiggle should you measure when you measure the valve guide wear?
Is 0.004 inches too much? And how hard should you wiggle the valve when you
measure it? Back and forth gently or really push it hard? Are you measuring
TOTAL wiggle..e.g. push to one side, take a measure, and then push to the
other side and figure out the total movement? How do the experts do this?

Thanks
Bud Rolofson
