Joe, I'm certain he meant "The Triumph was a true everyman's fast racy
babe magnet." No doubt Spitfire's are as magnetic as any TR. :)
Yesterday I was over to the elementary school with my lovely wife for a
kindergarten program. A mom in the parking lot walked over and said
"that Triumph brings back a lot of memories. My husband had a Spitfire
when we started dating." So that's a score for those cute little Spitfires.
