Bill,

You may be able to pop the wiper switches out, but be VERY careful with
them...i bumped one with a screwdriver once & the thing EXPLODED...i wasn't
very happy!

You can pull the rheostat by pulling the speedo & rev counter...this will
allow you to "rock" the dash outward...I can't guarantee that you'll be able
to get the the screws that hold it in, but I guess it's worth a shot. Might
be better to get the switches out that way.

Be aware...the rheostat knob may fight you...it does NOT have a pin that
holds in on, but it's a bear to get off.

IMHO, it's easier to pull the dash for all that stuff.

Todd

Thanks to everyone for the great advice. I did indeed order a copy of
the Dan Masters book, which actually arrived last night! Excellent
timing. What a wonderful read.

One more quick question: When removing switches and the rheostat, can I
remove them with the dash in place?

Many thanks again!
