Pound Sterling or English Pound or just "pound" and hope the
meaning is conveyed in context.
Do you folks in the UK use the Pound Sterling symbol for
weight when you are not talking metric?
Speaking of metric, the nickname I have bestowed on my Miata
is "Meg", since it weighs about one Mg and is a metric ton
of fun.
