I made some for a VW Beetle a few years back. I got me some welting cord
from an upholstery shop and wrapped vinyl fabric around it cutting it about
an inch or so from the bead. It worked surprisingly well.

Has anyone seen or made homemade beading (the thing that covers the joint
between body and fender)? I like the idea of making it myself. Thanks,
Paul
