Years ago I bought a Colortune kit to empiricize adjustment of carburetor 
richness.  Finally got around to using it as protection for a recent rebuild.  
Numbers 3 and 4 were firing bright yellow, which makes sense given the black 
ends to the spark plugs.  Adjusted to about the color of a gas stove.  

Astonishing.
