A buddy of mine bought a Harbor Freight torque wrench and we checked the calibration against a measurement tool at Texas Instruments. We found it within 2%, pretty much linear across the range. As with any piece of gear like that, don't drop it, and release the 'load' to zero in-between uses. Hope this helps.
