I have absolutely no idea.  But it does sound like it's in the running gear. 
You've checked the driveline.  Tranny shifts normal.  I'm wondering if there's 
something in the brake system that seizes occasionally when you stop the car, 
and moving unlocks it making that sound?  ...Or something inside the axle shaft?
