Now, please, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the reason for using a gea=
r oil that it resists or doesn't foam? I am not talking viscosity, but foa=
ming when the oil is stirred up by moving components - gears spinning in it=
. That's one of the main reasons for not overfilling your engine oil, it w=
ill foam, lose pressure and not lubricate properly. Or don't we care about=
foaming in a gearbox?
