They are literally impossible to get into the holes. I use a razor and =
cut them in half, being careful to leave the narrower part intact on one =
of the =E2=80=9Chalves=E2=80=9D, so it will fit in the hole.

=20

Greetings all!

=20

I have rebuilt the wiper motor on my TR3 and refinished the paint=20

on the motor mounting bracket. As you many know, the bracket has=20

three holes in it, into which rubber mounts are installed. The Moss=20

illustration of these three mounts is at =20

https://mossmotors.com/mounting-kit?assoc=3D41630 =20

=20

Has anyone installed this kit, replacing the old, corroded rubber=20

mounts? I got my old ones out easily enough but can't seem to=20

come up with a way to install the new ones. The diameter of the=20

rubber mount bushings vs. the diameter of the three holes gotta=20

make you wonder how they get installed..... I've even tried dunking=20

the rubber bushings in boiling water but no success.=20

=20

Ideas? Thoughts? Thanks!!
