Phil Allen, who was the Team Triumph head mechanic back in the 60s when =
Craig Hill raced a TR4A for the Canadian Team has suggested that with =
one plug removed, the manifold vacuum would suck cylinder air back into =
the manifold and weaken the mixture as stuck pistons would have given a =
rich mixture.
