I have the Heritage Certificate for all my TRs and for the TR2 the adjustable
column is listed.

Personally, I find the adjustable steering wheel goes in the wrong direction.
I am of average height, 5'9". I like a shorter distance to the peddles,
meaning, I like the seat forward and a little straighter arm to the wheel. The
adjustable wheel actually lengthens the distance between the dash capping when
shortened all the way. When it's extended, arms are too bent and the wheel too
close. So, one would think if you are shorter, you would want the seat far
forward and the steering wheel would also move in that direction. If one is
really tall, the seat goes back and the wheel forward for more arm length.

On my TR3 race car, I made the non-adjustable column shorter so there is just
enough comfortable clearance so my fingers don't touch the dash capping, but
it's close. I also modified the Kirkey Vintage racing seat to further recline
it in order to gain arm length to the wheel. To me, these cars are all screwed
up in terms of ergonomics. Just adding an option doesn't necessarily make it
better, but it sure sounds like it must be a good thing. It's adjustable! Yay!
