You're all pretty much in the know about this, but for discussion sake:
My TR3 was in much worse shape. Completely froze, both brakes and engine.
Body rust. A tiny bit of frame welding. Took over $16k to bring back (in
2004). But the car (complete with 3 inches of racoon poop in the engine bay)
only cost $500.
This kind of job is for people who love/want the car.
