The previous owner had the tank in my Spitfire sealed with Kreem. That was
at least 15 years ago, and I have had no issue whatsoever with the tank.
The work was done by a local radiator shop, so I suspect they did a good
job of prepping and installing the product since it is still working
great. About 10 years ago I installed Kreem in a motorcycle tank that had
minor rust issues. I did the whole process outlined in the instructions.
Including the rinse with distilled water and MEK. I only owned the bike
about 4 years after installing the Kreem, but I never had any issues with
it. Installation was a bit of a pain, getting the product evenly
distributed and keeping it moving until it was time to drain off the
excess.
