normal fuel hose can loose up to a gal. a year via permutation. Even FI hos=
es without the poly inner linings thanks to the crap design of todays fuels=
.e85 is even worse. So a smell can linger regardless of direct venting or no=

My TR is in an area that is relatively airtight, unlike the garage where it=
is the rest of the year. There is a slight fuel odor. There are no leaks s=
o that leaves the vented to air fuel tank. The vent pipe is easily accessib=
le and I=E2=80=99m wondering about attaching a charcoal canister temporaril=
y and plugging the canister outlet. Another possibility to plug tank vent f=
or the duration. Fuel level is less than 1/4. Thoughts?
