I did something similar but in reverse.=C2=A0 I had a small gathering for r=
eassembling a TR6.=C2=A0 I had the frame positioned with all the suspension=
components for each corner positioned near its respective corner, steering=
 rack, diff, engine/trans nearby.=C2=A0 And I photo documented it.=C2=A0 In=
two days I went from a bare frame to a rolling chassis with the body attac=
hed.
I also had help remounting the body on my TR3.=C2=A0 With no fenders it is =
an easy three-man job setting it in place.=C2=A0 Since you are taking it of=
f for stripping I recommend taking off the fenders and doors while it is st=
ill on the frame.=C2=A0 But you will need to reinforce the door openings to=
prevent the body from folding in the middle.=C2=A0 I had a couple of piece=
s of angle iron welded across the door openings which remained in place unt=
il after I remounted the body and had the doors installed and the door gaps=
good.=C2=A0 Also have some sort of support ready=C2=A0for the body when it=
 comes off.
The rest is pretty self-evident.=C2=A0=C2=A0

I have a 58 TR3a, already the engine, dash, driveshaft, and trans are out.

We are thinking of having a club event; invite people over during the day t=
o completely strip the car so I can redo the suspension and send the body o=

Has anyone done an event like that?=C2=A0 We took apart a member=E2=80=99s =
