Absolutely true! The input shafts are different as are the pilot bearings in the
flywheel. I can't remember the exact differences but I seem to remember that it 
is in the length of the pilot bearing portion of the input shaft. I believe that
the 6 is longer giving more support to the shaft. I think that even the splines 
are the same so the clutch disks are interchangable. You might be able to use 
the input shaft from a 6 in a 4 box but don't quote me on that.
