A general question: I race a 1958 special which has Morris Minor suspension and MGA drums front (from a 1500), MGA rear axle and diff with 1500 drums all on Triumph 15" steel wheels. For a little car it's a real tank - 1200lbs. Anyone have any tricks for reducing the weight (especially unsprung) of any of this. I have been trying to find alum. drums etc for MGA but haven't seen anything. Any help would be appreciated. |
