There is some concern that synthetics would find
more ways to leak out of an LBC than mineral
oil.  Lack of proper lip seals etc.  I don't know
how seriously to take that, since mine leaked at
every interface, and profusely, already.
Incidentally, 'Synthetic' is not any sort of artificial
concoction, but mineral oil reformulated in new
ways.  Any SG or SH rated oil is largely syn-
thetic anyway.
