Clark, given that it is an '85, probably with quite a few miles on it, and
given all of the other things you have done, I'd suspect that it is wear in
the pivot of the throw out arm or some other problem inside the bell housing
like the contact surface worn off of the throw out bearing. Not things you
want to hear because they involve pulling the trans.
