VSCCA Spring meeting April 14th-15th at Lime Rock

I would like to travel to Lime Rock for the spring VSCCA meeting as a
spectator. Two questions:

1) Is the event open to (paying) spectators? Can I just park in the
outfield, pay for a ticket and watch? Will I be allowed to wander the
paddock area (on foot) and check out the cars? Or do I have to ask one of my
VSCCA friends to get me a pass? My ultimate goal is to scout out potential
purchase candidates.

2) can someone recommend a good B&B or Country Inn that is close to Lime
Rock? I'm bringing the wife so no fleabag Motels and no camping in April!
