Oh yes, I was talking with my best buddy when I thought
I felt a very loud and thunderous semi truck rattle by.
As it escalated we immediately knew what was happening.
Instead of going for the door archway, we just bolted
outside to the parking lot where we watched our new 3
story building twist around like a tall mound of jello.
All the cars in the parking lot were just bouncing up
and down, alarms going off. The streetlights were
swaying.
It could have been so much worse, we are very
fortunate. The quake was about 30 miles away from us,
and 30 miles deep, which spreads the energy.
I drove home to insure that my '65 GTA was still sitting
on its rear jackstands, thank God it was!
