I remember a Mini racer named Boffo from either north central Pa or upstate
NY. He was quite good. He was a contemporary of my friend Roger Koch. I
remember passing him, going the other way on Pa 66 near Clarion, Pa as I was
heading to either Watkins Glen or a SCCA pro rally.

An otherwise "painful" Sunday picnic at the in-laws was brightened-up by a
neighbor who dropped-in. The neighbor learned I was racing a Morgan (and I
always have pictures with me!) and said an old neighbor of hers in Western
PA used to race a Morgan. And this was the era when a Morgan was a
contemporary racecar! She thought the fellow's name was Boffo and she
thought they raced at a track near Connellsville PA. So . . . . . . . . .
1. Anyone remember a Morgan racer named Boffo?
2. Anyone remember racing at Connellsville (Airport?)?
Sorry, I'm not giving you much to go on, but the woman didn't remember that
much either!
