1 - Click "find" on your start menu. Look in your c\windows\sytem\ directory
for file - \cp_25389.NLS
2 - Delete this file
3 - click "run" on your start menu
4 - type "Regedit" (no quotes) and hit enter
5 - You'll see HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
click this and and follow this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>RunOnce
6 - delete kernel 32
7 - if there is also a kernel.dll file, delete that too
8 - close all those windows, empty your trash, if you have a "deleted files
bin", empty that too.
9 - restart the computer
10 - your virus software can now remove this tenacious virus. I had to do the
above steps a few times before the file stayed deleted.
11 - If you don't have virus protection software, lemme know and I can direct
you to a site that can scan and clean your hard drive for you.
