It's comforting to know that GT-6s don't get better with age. I bought
mine new in '68 (Typical Brit mid model example...toggles, but Pennsylvania
knock-offs). Trans was bad from day one (1st/rev. slider), head gasket at
17,000 (12/12 warranty, natch). Sold the car for an E-Type, then went
reliable and bought my "64 +4 4 place Morgan (reliable and still in the
garage!)
