Some of you have met or know Bob Feighner. In case you don't know Bob by
name, you may remember him through his cars. He started racing in the
mid-80s campaigning a white Jag E-type, then a Lola FF now owned by Bob
Darcey of RMVR, and finally an Elva Courier now owned by Bruce McNamara.
Bob raced at VSCDA, RMVR, and SVRA events in the Midwest.
Last Wednesday evening, Bob suffered a heart attack. The paramedics used
the defibrillator three times and had to resuscitate him twice on the short
trip to the hospital. He is in an induced coma after successfully
undergoing angioplasty. He will be gradually awakened this Sunday to check
his condition.
Bob is a true character in every sense of the word and knows how to keep you
humble when you're having a good day at the track. Please keep our friend
in your thoughts and prayers.
