Daniel,
 As long as the weight is within the Honda specs, you will be OK. Just
remember to check the GVWC (gross vehicle weight combined). While you may be
able to tow up to 3500 lbs, you have to take into consideration the weight of
everything you're putting in the Honda. This includes the occupants. The only
other thing you need to watch for is the tongue weight. There should be a
listing for the tow package that shows the max allowed.

can measure the tongue weight with a bathroom scale and some pieces from your
local home improvement center.
A trailer of the type you describe doesn't need a load distribution hitch or
anti sway bars. If your tongue weight is right and the car is placed to
distribute the load correctly, you'll be fine.
