Hello Gents,

I just saw the coverage of the Monterey event on Speed
Channel and was amazed that Alan Decadanet pushed it
to hold position on the last lap with the front wheel
of his Alfa as loose as it was.

Wasn't this a major safety concern - should he have
been flagged for it? In the end the wheel did come off
on the cool down lap - luckily it did not happen at
racing speeds!

It may well have been a judgement issue on his part,
and he could certainly make his own decision about
driving his own car into the ground, but he put other
people and cars at risk as well! Can someone explain
the rule here?

Thanks,
John D.
