F-1 ran a race in Dallas in 1984 on an improvised street course at Fair Park
(home of the Texas State Fair). It was run in 100+ degree heat in July! The
new blacktop portions of the track came apart in the heat. No one was
surprised when the race was a one-off. I got some good photos.
