Sorry for the delay in responding. I've been putting in LONG hours the last
several weeks, and some things were unfortunately neglected.
I use a Desktop Publishing (DTP) program from Serif called PagePlus 3.0 for
Windows (PP3.0). It does everything, has a short learning curve, and is
cheap, like between $70 and $99. The range in price is for various
rebates/promotions/format (floppy or CD), etc. There are quite a few message
boards here on AOL that discuss all the many DTP/graphics programs. You can
read all about any one you might have questions on, and there's an excellent
message board devoted to PP3.0. Check it out; try Go To: PagePlus. Serif also
offers a "freeware" version called PagePlus Intro for about $9
shipping/handling. I believe it does almost everything the full version does,
but leaves out some bells and whistles. Their number is 603 889-8650. I know
that if you were sitting here with me, we could produce what you described in
your 4-13 message in a couple of hours.
BTW, the best time to catch anybody here on the phone is before noon, and
after 4 pm.
