I would like to take this opportunity to welcome to VTR's National Board
Kent D. Howard as Advertising Manager for _The Vintage Triumph_/ _The
English Channel_.
Kent is Editor of the _Coventry Commentator_ for Vintage Triumphs of
Wisconsin. An excerpt from his resume: "[I have] spent the last 35 years
in advertising and marketing and at age 58...recently stepped down from
running a successful display advertising business...[a] world leader in
menu signs for fast food restaurants.
"My original plan for my life was to go into publishing, having taken
Journalism at the University of Wisconsin. Some of my earlier ambitions have
recently born fruit with my taking over as editor of the _Coventry
Commentator_, the newsletter of The Vintage Triumphs of Wisconsin.
"I'm not a gear-head (have trouble changing my oil) but I love Triumphs
and have owned my 1965 TR4A since new. Coupled with that, I've always had
a fascination for the publishing business and am looking for something to
get involved with that would satify some of my earlier yearnings and would
only take part of my time."
