I have a very rusty 1972 TR-6 with a strong engine. I would like to find a
1977 or 1978 Spitfire 1500 with o/d and install the 2.5l I-6 into the Spit.
Is this possible without major modifications? Will I need to find a GT-6
bonnet to accommodate such a feat?

Please advise.
