Run to =93My Brothers Place=94 by Pat Ledford
The May 7th Run to ???? now has a destination. We will still meet at the Sh=
eetz at 2000 Erham Road in Cranberry TWP. Drivers meeting at 10:15, First c=
arr off at 10:30. We will head north and have a pit break at the Speedway i=
n Barkeyville off of Route 8. The address is 5813 Pittsburgh Road Harrisvil=
le PA. After taking a travel break, we will circle around and stop for lunc=
h at =93My Brothers Place=94 (this is the name of the restaurant which is n=
ot owned by my brother). The restaurant is located at 2058 Leesburg Grove C=
ity Road, Mercer PA.
The route will have a combination of curves and country roads with simple d=
irections. Remember to have your lights on and keep track of the three cars=
behind you. The run will be rain or shine and the restaurant would like to=
have a number of people eating, please send me who will be attending the r=
un by the morning of Friday May 6th.
After lunch if you wish to visit other attractions; there is the Wendell Au=
gust Forge, Libations Winery, and the Amish Peddler Store just west of the =
restaurant. Grove City Outlet mall is located to the East. For those of you=
who remember the old Kohler Brewery Co, the Grandsons of the original owne=
rs have opened two new locations and are brewing the original beer as a PA =
craft beer. One is at 231 Park Street Grove City PA; you will probably need=
