Power Examples

These figures are taken from various sources, mostly the Competition Preparation Handbooks for the TR6 and the GT6. The first graph gives a comparision of a stock GT6 motor and one which is race tuned. The race tuning is using the data taken from the GT6+ competition handbook, and do not reflect the power output one could get from a fully race prepared engine using modern parts and technigues, such as higher ration roller rockers and high compression forged pistons, for example. It still provides a good indication of the potential for the motor in its two liter form, and is probably close to what a limit of the rules GT6 motor could produce for SCCA Street Prepared autocrossing.
