I would add replacing the snout fan with an electrical one, light weight
flywheel, and engine balance to that list.
A few people have dynoed  their
sixes, hopefully they'll speak up.

performance up to 5000 RPM. I'm leaning toward the
Goodparts triple carbs (ZS
or HS6), a mild cam, and a compression bump to
9.5:1. The car has a 6-2-1
header feeding into a single 2.25" free flow
exhaust. Crane XR700 ingnition,
Lucas Sport Coil, stock dizzy. Would having
the head flowed be worthwhile?
