[6pack] Miata seat conversion

Just an observation--I have a 2005 Mazdaspeed MX5 (factory Miata turbo) with about 8,000 miles on it, and a '76 TR6.? I think the seats in the TR6 are at least as comfortable as those in the Miata.? They are certainly "cushier."? The headrest isn't as modern a design, so I imagine the Miata seats would be safer in a rear-ender, but I can't think of another reason to switch from the stock seats to those from the Miata.? What is the reason to do so?
