Agree from what I have read, I think that the biggest concern is when breaking in a newly rebuilt engine.

I've saved and reviewed much of the discussion of the oil formulation  
changes and have managed only to confuse myself. To elaborate on Sloane's  point, is 
there a general consensus on what is THE ideal oil to use in a stock  TR6 
engine? As I read it, Castrol 20/50 was OK.
