Dan: I have found that tearing rather than cutting (with scissors) and over stretching is what causes electrical tape to curl up after it's wrapped around a wire or harness. I've used harness wrap on many wire bundles and sealed the ends with electrical tape (cut and not overstretched) and have not had the curling problem. I hope this helps. Bob Fabie
