White would be the correct color for the letter with any paint other that
white (red) or the various shades of yellow (black). However it's your car.
For my own part I think the red TR6 letters would look smashing on French
Blue, or better yet, the Union Jack TR6 emblem. French Blue is a great color
for these cars! By any chance are you changing the interior, too? The Shadow
Blue upholtery carpet is really gorgeous with French Blue.
 
My two cents. Just know that I also love the Magenta cars, too. So what do I
know about taste and beauty? Time to open another bottle of Thunderbird and
get back to work.
