Robert---I doubt that you'll feel any gain in power at the seat-of-the-pants. If you plan on keeping your TR for a long time, there is the fact that you needn't be buying air filters again. I've had mine on since 1985, with hundreds of thousands of miles on it. (Serviced it once, brushed it off a dozen times) Dick
