Friends,
Thanks to all who responded to my question about the correct timing. Your
collective wisdom is much appreciated. What worked very well for me was to
set the idle at 850 and set the timing to 12 degrees before TDC. With my
vacuum permanently blocked, the car runs exceptionally well. That whole
retard/advance discussion just evaded me for a while. Thanks again.
