Jim - 

   I found that the cap from an old Bic pen works quite nicely.  It's

tapered so you can jam it into the fuel line enough to make it tight 

and the little tab that usually clips on your pocket (or your "pocket

protector") makes a nice handle when it comes time to pull it out.  I carry
2 in my tool box.
