[Alpines] Series Gearbox Identification.

   Hello again,
   Thanks  for  all the response to my Series gearbox question and I have
   determined it is an all synchro unit, reverse "lump" on the casting is
   on the front left and the reverse shifter position is to the right and
   back.  Now  to  see if the input shafts can be exchanged easily to fit
   the Sunbeam Talbot cars.

     Hi,
     As  many  of  you know, I am into the Talbot Alpines but acquired a
     Series  gearbox  with  the  date  22 6 66 on the casting so it is a
     later car. Does this have synchromesh 1st gear?
     Other casting numbers are:
     1981060
     3DA21055
     On the back side stamped into the casting:
     8325
     15
