[Bmcu] Axle berring

I've done a couple of these recently at the shop. It is fairly
straightforward
with proper tools, could be a real pain in the driveway.

Basically you remove the wheel and brake drum. Undo the axle nut and pull
the hub off. That is one part that might be difficult at home, we have nice
big impact wrenches. Don't remember the socket size, I just grabbed the
one that fit.

Pull the hub off the splines. It may be easier if you remove the tapered
collar first. Sometimes a good whack on the hub with a hammer will dislodge
it with the nut off.

Next undo the brake line to the wheel cylinder, then remove the 4 bolts
holding the backing plate and bearing cover to the axle. Pull out the axle.
Another one of those "simple" tasks. Mike has a special tool that screws
on the end of the axle and has a piece welded to it with a hole in it. You
put a slide hammer with a hook into the hole, a few whacks and the axle
and bearing slide out.

Press the old bearing off the axle, pack and put on the new one. Make
sure you
get the washer put back on correctly. A new seal in the bearing cover, new
gasket or *judicious* use of RTV silicone and you reassemble.

Sounds easy. Good luck.
