Well, the inaugural BMCU kart event is tomorrow.  This is the last email and
includes everything you need to know.

 

All Members,

 

Remember everyone is welcome, Kart drivers and non-Kart drives

 

Check Traffic.  The UDOT and SLC marathon websites list areas of potential
delays and bottlenecks.  Check them.  Go to MMS if you miss our 8AM SLC
departure

Meet at the Home Depot at 7:45 - 8 AM or MMS at 9.  See the schedule below
or the BMCU website for details

                                The SLC group will depart at 8AM and will
caravan to the MMS as a group.  Our route will be Home Depot to Hwy 201, Hwy
201 to Hwy 80, Hwy 80 to Tooele, Tooele to MMS

 

At MMS, look for the sign "Welcome British Motor Club" and/or go to the
security gate.

 

If you want lunch and you don't want to wait, see me tomorrow by 12:00 to
per-order your food.  I emailed the menu earlier this week and will have
some with me.

 

We need 3 volunteers to help score the kart races.  See or email Bill Davis
for details.

Kart Drivers

 

Wear appropriate footwear.  No sandals, open toed shoes, stilettos, etc.

 

Check-in with Me so I know you are there and plan to drive.  You need to be
in and accounted for by 9:30AM

 

It is very imported that you are there for the safety briefing at 9:30.

 

Bill Davis is handling the scoring and brackets, talk to Bill if you have
any questions.  

 

Have as much fun as you can.  Be competitive is you want but be safe.  You
can't be a hero if you don't get home in one piece.
